Journalism Workshops
High school students interested in journalism, photography, illustrating
or cartooning, or simply
wishing to improve their writing skills are
invited to attend our Journalism Workshops. The workshops teach
journalism skills which students can take back to their school
newspapers or use to get a head start on their future careers. Students
may be invited to become permanent members of Page One's staff at the
completion of the workshops.
Information
The first meeting will usually be held at the Tribune Chronicle offices (240 Franklin St. S.E.). Parents should
attend the first meeting, which will last about one hour. There is a $20
fee for joining that can be waived for financial difficulty. Workshop
meetings are generally held every other Thursday at 6:00. A more
